Make sure you persist with this music video, there are some real golden moments highlighting our history of video editing… and how can you beat those killer dance moves?!

Song: Poison
Artist: Bell Biv DeVoe
From Album: Poison
Year Released: 1989
Notes: Although the group peaked in popularity in 1991 with their debut album, Poison, they still continue to perform as a group today (…seriously!?).

Poison peaked at #1 in the U.S. R&B Billboard charts. It also reached #3 on the Billboard pop charts.

This song—in the style of New Jack Swing, a late-80s hybrid of R&B and hip hop—was the group’s most successful, and sings of the dangers of falling in love.
